This series follows the two hosts, who traverse Flanders in 10 days. With a little help, the two friends design and build their own solar powered boat with recycled materials. The boat named The Goldfish, will help them dig for gold when talking to people about their unique stories.
When the build is complete, they move to the water to embark on their trip. With no money, the pair travel without luxury or home comforts and they will rely on the help from strangers to make this crazy adventure a success. To thank the people who help them, they are happy to do a favour in return.
The two adventurers encounter various challenges on the go as their homemade boat isn’t always completely reliable. On the different types of waterways they have to cross under low bridges, try to manoeuvre the tides and the weather and stay away from large ships that might drown their little boat with waves.
As they rely on solar power, they never know where they will end their day. But they’re always on the lookout for beautiful places and nice people who prove hospitality and willingness to help strangers isn’t a thing of the past.
The Goldfish proves you don’t have to go far to experience an epic adventure.
