The third edition of the prestigious Belgian TV awards took place last Saturday, where viewers massively voted for their favorite TV programs. The Expedition: Greenland was awarded in the category of Best New TV Program 2024.
This adventure reality series follows a group of 8 celebrities on an epic journey across Greenland, tackling the challenging Arctic Circle Trail in the dead of winter. Spanning over 160 kilometers, from Kangerlussuaq to Sisimiut, they face bone-chilling temperatures as low as -40°C, pushing their physical and mental limits to discover what they’re truly capable of.
After its highly successful launch in January 2024, the series became an instant favorite. The journey continues with Season 2: Namibia, as a new group of celebrities navigates the vast and stunning landscapes of the Namib Desert. A third season is currently in production, set to premiere in 2026 on Play 4.
